It's done!

Terrain geometry is now generating properly, from grids of editable voxels!

(Maxine would be celebrating too, but she's just billboarding here for scale).

Slowly getting there, with this Marching Cubes terrain overhaul.

A cloud of points is being fed into each Chunk of terrain. For testing, blue dots are solid, and red dots are empty space.

Each 2x2x2 cube of solid and empty dots is used to look up a particular tile shape from an atlas, and add it to the chunk.

Still debugging the tile generator, I'm afraid; some of the tiles are rotated the wrong way around, and I don't know why! But It's good to see it working somewhat!

If you're getting into shaders in Godot, I wrote a 3-Part Guide about some of the basics regarding UV coordinates. It's definitely not comprehensive, but rather I try to stay on one topic as to not overwhelm anyone new to shaders!

I wrote this board game tutorial for people to learn Godot. If that appeals, you can see the whole series here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC4 #godot #gamedev #indiedev

Want to create few prototypes and post it to for getting some feedback. It can help me to decide about go or not go with it further.

Started with resurrection of my idea about knight and spears!
Will post progress.

Well, that track's lookin' alright. At least alright enough to toss gameplay bullshit at it, I suppose. #gamedev #indiedev #godot #godotengine
