If you're a server admin for a fediverse instance (and other use cases) and using nginx, try their new ACME module.
It's easy to setup, you can build nginx with the module statically or dinamically linked or use the package nginx-module-acme.
This way you'll never have to worry again about TLS certificates expiring and bringing downtime to your service.
It's not compatible with wildcards, tho. But it's written in Rust!

Are other instance admins running into AI crawlers impacting availability?
A general call-out to #fediadmin about whether they have been experiencing issues with site availability, specifically an on-again off-again bot wave that crawls publicly-available ActivityPub data at a rate so punishing that it overwhelms my server.
We had to turn on "I'm Under Attack" from the CF dashboard, but that comes with some not-so-nice tradeoffs (including blocking all automated crawlers, even the good ones.)

If you are a #MastoAdmin #FediAdmin, you may want to purge a.gup.pe from your server.
In Mastodon, go into admin > Moderation > Federation > Add new domain block. Create one for the domain name "gup.pe" (subdomains are included) with "suspend" severity. Once added, go into the details for the newly added block and you'll find the "Purge" button right at the bottom of the page.

Agora é possível responder tópicos ou criar novos usando uma conta em instância GoToSocial.
Antes não era possível porque o GtS tem o `authorized_fetch` sempre ativo e isso não pode ser desligado.
Já o Lemmy ganhou suporte a esse recurso há cerca de 1 ano, mas para ativar envolve um blambers no banco de dados e reiniciar os serviços.
Mas agora quem está numa instância com `authorized_fetch` ligado (GoToSocial, Mastodon, etc), pode interagir com Lemmy.eco.br sem problemas.
Obrigado @kariboka por ativar o recurso, e @andrelop por descobrir como faz!

It appears someone has been making new accounts on servers to circumvent being blocked/suspended.
They're using these accounts to doxx and spread false accusations against @carbonated_estrogen, who I personally know to be a lovely individual.
If you see anyone attacking @carbonated_estrogen or encouraging others to do so, please report them and any applicable posts.
