No wonder @gotosocial v0.20.0 is called Sinister Sloth - database migrations took more than 4 hours on my instance 
So far, longest 
database migration ever. But smooth sailing afterwards - just as release notes mentioned, re-threading is a big task, so be ready when you hit upgrade

@meljoann oooo, I really like that you can create lists and host them wherever you want too. I've been using GoToSocial for months and I had no idea this feature was a thing :3
I know it's been very slow and not inclusive enough, but seeing fedi slowly adopt new moderation features has been nice. I'm thankful for the marginalized people who have demanded these features for years. Without them, none of this stuff would exist. Good on GoToSocial for prioritizing this in beta too 
It will also be interesting to see if it can work with FASP, so that mastodon admins can also setup a service to relay them.

Fedi admins, be aware that a lot of people who report abuse don't forward it to its original server because the official Mastodon app doesn't include this option.
If you're running a public Fedi server and you receive a report about a bad post, you might also want to report the bad post to yourself and make sure you've selected the option to forward it to the original server.
If the original server never receives a report, the spammer/abuser/etc will keep posting.

Falls ihr beim Ansehen von mehreren Medien files auch immer http status code 429 (too many requests) vom media_proxy bekommt:
im file live/config/initializers/rack_attack.rb
bei "throttle_media_proxy"
andere Werte einstellen (z.b. limit: 900, period: 5.minutes), alles bauen wie bei einem Update und Mastodon neu starten.
Siehe da: plötzlich werden Medien geladen und man kann bei Profilen wieder mehr als 30 auf einmal sehen.

I can still *fetch* them and they appear on my timeline, but I can't favourite or boost them. Was I blocked?
