We run a glitch-soc server, that requires authentication to see profiles and such. It used to be the about page was unable to load anything unique to the server but now it *almost* works: https://artcrimes.gay/about
Hilariously it doesn't actually show the about now, but everything else is getting called correctly and can load.
Anyone know how to fix? I try looking it up but the mix of words ends up with just irrelevant crap

Going up to $2.00 per 1000 messages means I'll likely start getting billed if $1.00 is their threshold for "don't bill". Probably doing this to start billing accounts they haven't been able to yet like blimps.xyz.
I'm not up much on any alternatives with a low spam ranking. Not a big deal cost-wise here; the Vultr node is the highest cost by far at $36 for the node plus $9 for the ElasticSearch and LibreTranslate node. But still a change that may impact others more.

Ich kann meinem Mastodon Account Folgen und mein Mastodon Account kann wohl auch dem Pixelfed Account folgen. Ich kann wohl auch leuten auf pixelfed.social folgen aber wenn ich jemanden bei pixelfed.de folgen will, dann passiert nix. Ich suche den Account - das klappt. Ich klicke auch Follow und der follow counter wird +1 hochgezählt. Wenn ich jetzt aber schaue, wem ich folge dann steht der Account da nicht und wenn ich das Profil, welches ich folgen will, neulade dann ist der follow counter wieder bei 0

Ich habe heute einige Stunden damit verbracht einen neuen VPS für Freunde einzurichten und dort eine kleine Fedi- Instanz zu installieren
Ich muss gestehen, dass ich schon sehr verwöhnt mit guten Docker Images bin, aber ich bin froh, dass ich auch noch nativ Dinge zum Laufen bringen kann.
Morgen kommt das dann in mein privates #Ansible Repo, damit ich das - falls gebraucht - deutlich schneller deployen kann.
