Fedi crawlers not respecting robots.txt accessing varying api routes:
- oii-research/0.0.1,
- redrick 2.0-dev,
- MastodonInstances,
- fediverse/2.613 (@ fediversecounter@mastodon.social),
- FediCrawl/1.0.
They all request many routes but do not request robots.txt.
ws-bot-v1 on the other hand does look at robots.txt though still it always requests peers endpoint

If you're attempting to register an account on https://nsfw.lgbt and you haven't received the signup confirmation email, your email address is invalid. Gmail says your mailbox does not exist.
You need to check the spelling of your email address.

Submitting reports and telling me that users are posting content without permission,
without providing any proof to me that users are posting content without permission,
is not helpful!
Otherwise, anybody can report any content from any user on any instance that they don't like.
What a dystopian world that will create!
If you don't like someone's content,
block & move on!
If the content is violating OUR POLICIES,
report, block, and move on!
It's not rocket science, people!
Otherwise, all you've done is pushed me to ignore all future reports from your instance. (It's a setting in Sharkey. I'll never see your reports.)

Love this shit. Mastodon.uno have had several reports in the past month of a user signing up for the purposes of harassing me and a bunch of other people, and they're still not vetting sign ups, which allows this to keep happening.

Hey fellow admins, here's something you can do to make the fediverse massively better for anyone who's a woman and/or Black: ban "reply guys", mansplainers, and sea lions (https://wondermark.com/c/1062/) on your server. You know what I mean. Make a rule against it. Encourage other people to report it. Go into the comments of a popular post and proactively block or ban the people engaging in this behaviour. If a particular server is known to be bad for this because the admins tolerate this behaviour from their users, preemptively mute or block it server-wide. Consider public shaming.
Just because it's not outright harassment or slurs doesn't make it okay. It still actively drives people away.
If this is an undue burden for you or your moderators, your server is too big. Stop accepting new users and add more moderators.

We’re working on a service that can help manage the list of blocked and limited servers to make it easier to create a welcoming community. We are also considering adding some spam detection abilities as well.

Der valide Punkt der Masto-Leute ist natürlich: Es sind im Grunde neue Posts auf der neuen Instanz, die zurückdatiert werden. Weil ja nunmal die URLs der alten Posts auf der alten Instanz nicht "magisch" im ganzen Fediverse umgebogen werden können. #FediAdmin
