There seems to be something wrong with file server in @gotosocial 
Current version keeps giving 404 error for FLAC audio file (audio/x-flac) even though path is right in media_attachments.file_path and mentioned file really exists under storage folder with correct permissions. It is not a problem of reverse proxy - it is GoToSocial server that is giving 404. Also noticed same error with another kind of audio file. No problems with JPEG and PNG images, though.
Is there anything else I can check before reporting an issue?

As as admin, I can see application based sign-ups helping keep spammers and bad actors off the fedi. But, in practice, it has not been that simple. I saw alot of people doing some scolding like "They are bad for open sign ups. Just do sign up approval." As if that is easy.
But approving applications, while helpful, is time consuming, takes alot of discernment, and requires care. And I want to do that right. But I cant find any guides on it.

Making good use of Domain Limits recently introduced by @gotosocial 
I was previously blocking mastodon.world for spreading misinformation, but now I add Content Warning (CW) on all posts incoming from this instance with a notice 
Awesome - now I can follow @signalapp since I don't have to defederate from the instance anymore 
Another happy update By the way, migrations took only some minutes and was not a huge deal on my roughly 5 GB 
database

It is always best to keep your software current.
“Current” does not mean using the latest bleeding-edge release the moment a new update comes out. “Current” means you should, at a minimum, update your site at least once every 6 months (2x a year).
If you cannot do that, you should not be running a website that other people depend on.

In the admin reporting panel I see the reported post. But the reported account is only the reposter, but not the original nsfw account.
How do you handle this? I have zero problem with the vinyl bot, that's something I want. But I don't want to have this one in my private timeline (and not in the global one).
I think it's related to this bug.

Dear Pixelfed Admins admins, how do you handle reports when the report only show the reposted account?
For example, the reported account shows (properly marked) NSFW content. But as the naked person wore vinyl clothes, the hashtag vinyl was used. The account vinyl from tagpush.app reposts everything vinyl (records) related, if hashtag vinyl was added
I reported it myself to see what I can do in the admin reporting panel:

I just issued the first local account ban today. A huge thank you to the users who reported the profile! Your vigilance is what makes this decentralized space work.
The account in question wasn’t sharing actual content, but rather a "word salad" — a suspicious mix of random keywords and gibberish, typical for spam bots or SEO-farming.
Note to fellow Fediverse admins: I’ve added a detailed reason for the suspension in the moderation notes. If this user attempts to migrate or interact with your instances, you should see the "spam/word salad" flag in your federation panels.
Let’s keep the noise out and the signal strong! 📡
