Are there any good #matrix servers to join, at least to start out? Just curious for now.

@lutindiscret @Gargron @lefteristrip23 I beg of you: not #Matrix, for anything persisting and serious *when it comes to group chat*. Has a history of exploding chat rooms, every few years or so. Track record is not good.
#Zulip is today's much more sane choice, as a place to escape to, fleeing #Discord. đź‘Ť
BTW: I'm willing to set up/maintain Zulip servers, *but for a price*.

Najbardziej oczywisty byłby Matrix, ale ja jestem fanem forów i bardziej pasowałby mi np. Discourse.

I'd love to encourage these projects to jump ship, and I celebrate those that do. I am much more likely to provide quality contributions if you host on your own forge, or a free one, and I am sure I'm not alone in this.
GitHub is hostile to FOSS and, despite giving away lots of free-of-cost stuff I believe ultimately hurts us.

How is #Matrix nowadays? I know they've made progress on stamping out decryption errors, but have they worked on moderation tooling too?
