Genuinely feel what makes a project like #Godot so amazing is the open source nature of it that, like Linux, prevents vendor lock-in and forces corporations to respect end users and smaller companies long term.
When people get excited about proprietary forks or tools that are shiny but restrictive such as nvidia raytracing they are shooting themselves in the foot!
People believe a nod of approval from a giant corporation is some sort of signal of quality but in my experience it's not...
So, after importing a bunch of assets from @kenney and some textures from @polyhaven , following a couple of tutorials, adding a terrain plugin and an elevation map of the Isle of Mull, and figuring out how to generate my own cubes from parameters, I now have Mr. T-Pose and his merry band of gelatinous cubes.
