Can I just admit something really quick? I'm an artist, so I'm better at drawing than I am coding.
However, I chose to show you a screenshot of a concept I had. A top-down idle game where you are an anthro cat running a small shop, and randomly-colored customers visit your shop and always buy your stuff.

Beam vfx with spatial sounds!
I made it so you can easily add different audio to the start, middle and end of the beams, and of course @rohhsa made so many different sounds it's fun to try them out.
