I think GDScript really needed a way to create global enums.
Not sure if it's a good idea, but I've split the Items system from the Food system.
There are some overlaps, but some significant differences, and it makes things a bit easier to track.
Now to implement Farms, Orchards, Bakeries (this will need *optional*recipes*, unless I make Bread Bakeries and Pie Makers and Patisseries)...
And the distribution system...
I may be some time...

Gatherers were not dropping off at their Huts, as it was only testing for Materials already stored in the Hut, and they start empty!

Still not much (in terms of actual game content) but all for days of rational thinking for beginners.
One lesson i've probably learned alone is that it really takes time for it to come all together.

Not happy with the "State machine" I'm using.
Enums and match statements, but I need current_task, and current_target, so I know where they're going, and why.
Loads of functionality is nested inside Task.Walking/finished Navigating.
Whole thing needs refactoring.
Deciding how granular to make things, or if I can bundle stuff together.
