10 GODOT Games in 2 Minutes
#Godot Engine is a free and open-source #gameengine . It’s lightweight, highly flexible, and features a unique scene system that makes building complex projects intuitive.
It runs on all major platforms and exports to desktop, #mobile, and web, making it a powerful tool for #indie developers and studios worldwide.
They are all FREE on indiexpo website!
Ever wanted to build a map, out of tiles? If only there was something in #Godot to help... Oh wait, there is! But using tilemaps properly can be tricky... luckily we have JackieCodes speaking at #GodotFest to help!

If you wish to support NOKOMA you can now purchase from the game in-app options like removing the ads.
But you can still:
▪ Download and play the game
▪ Leave a rating or a comment
▪ Talk about it to friends and family

I'm looking at how far along my gameplay prototype for Abstrack is with Unity, but I am so, so, SO tempted to switch to Godot again. That's the engine I'm most passionate about.
I originally picked the project up with Unity since the early barebones prototype was made with that and I was semi familiar with it's networking. Then I switched to Mirror, made a whole *bunch* of stuff, and then burnt out around the end of March.
Now I want to make this game to completion. I have game design plans written up. But I'm at a crossroads:
Do I restart in Godot to make sure I am passionate about every single facet of this project to keep myself motivated, or do I keep using Unity to prevent myself from going in circles?
For reference, here's some footage: https://youtu.be/_nZMHLY24Fg

Updated to #godot 4.5 quite easily, but didn't manage to figure out a good way to do what I wanted with the stencil mask.
I know how to do each part, but unfortunately it appears that decals can't write to the buffer. So I can use a decal to create a stencil mask.
Grr.
Hey HEY, let’s continue on making a visual novel! This time let’s add more characters and some backgrounds too: https://youtu.be/0tYjtgTJTrs?si=_izJuM1k7BYXDfpf #godot #gamedev #indiedev

Might add "Road Travellers".
My current data is quite mundane (as in non-fantastical), but hopefully throws interesting ideas.
These tables are intended as guidelines, to provide inspiration for your games/writings and are drawn from hand-picked data I have collated.
Any ideas for what tables to include are welcome! (and UI suggestio0ns, etc)
