I greatly did improve the performance on mobile for Samory. I simply did change the resolution to a third of the desktop version. Therefore I do manipulate the ui zoom and camera zoom factor.
I also added a ui scale slider to make the ui useable on mobile. Additionally I cleaned the setting menu with foldable containers.

I was experimenting a bit with cutscenes. One thing worth noting is that the classic shot-reverse-shot cut feels REALLY BAD in a video game like this, and I think it's because the speech is a text bubble, so it shares the same "lane" as the visuals, unlike audio dialog.

One of the things I like about being a DM is microdosing game development. Usually that entails narrative design and game mechanics, but for my current campaign (D&D 5e, cosmic roadtrip, sort-of-spelljammer but with homebrew astrophysical contrivances) I wanted strong visual aids. So I spent far too much time putting together a functional 3d map.

Seems like I mostly have LazyVim set up for #Godot dev. Still have to learn a few things like what keyboard command shows the diagnostic messages from the LSP, and I still need to figure out my debugging workflow. And learn to use #vim efficiently, of course. But I already feel like a Very Smart Nerd, so clearly it's worth it.
Also I'm on here less since I don't have to wait as long for things to load as with VSCode 🤓
