Another manbaby in my emails throwing his toys out of the pram and accusing me and .art of this and that and threatening to 'let everyone know what we're really like'.
My dude, if you'd stopped after your first paragraph of asking what you'd done that was antisemitic and explaining that it was unlikely, I might have gotten back to you, but your behaviour in the rest of the email was obnoxious and entitled enough that you're going to stay suspended.
Hello, Monday.
Is there interest in starting up a new server? I am incentivized to provide something for this niche (or perhaps not-so-niche) part of the fediverse.
It would be a forum. Running NodeBB. Not Mastodon.
Is that just me or do 99% of all spam accounts use Gmail addresses to sign up? #fediadmin #mastoadmin
Errata for the new year:
"Can we trust your reports for our instance?"
Well. Maybe.
So, we do check each report for rules violations. We don't just trust other instances' reports. So IF your instance is similar to ours and IF you trust our checks then yes, probs.
Rules:

"You banned me / my instance and I want to argue my case!"
Okie. You can do that. But we reserve the right to post the interactions (minus doxy stuff) publicly.

Given #PieFed (alternative to Lemmy / Mbin) gained some popularity among #Fediverse #FediAdmin's, it should be mentioned the dev apparently has some very strong opinions they enforce by hardcoding a blacklist of community names such as "memes" and "greentext", preventing federation.
https://codeberg.org/rimu/pyfedi/src/branch/main/app/admin/routes.py#L373
The code calls them "low effort communities". Twice, because huge blocks of code are duplicated. It's a very opinionated spaghetti.
Do not recommend.
Holy shit the amount of child social media laws coming out left and right is crazy. I'm working on it but damn, for a hobby it's a mess.
For The Kids I suppose, I remember back when I was a kid with no gps, no phone, hell not even a bandaid when I fell just wiped it off with my nasty ass hands and went along playing in the wilds of the world until I heard "BRRRRRRYYYYYYSOONNNNNNN" or someone yelling "DINNER!" And going home. Sundown hit and you knew it was time to get that ass home before you got in trouble.
Now you have hoops to jump through left and right out here to "comply" with a simply hobby site "technically" if I don't want to tempt fate.

VPS
seedbox
It's the end of the year, so let's take a look at 2025 on indieweb.social.

Question for the #MastoAdmin out there, what are you doing to trim down your database size?
While I know 270GB isn't that big for a database, I was hoping to get the size down a bit to look into an affordable managed PostgreSQL service.
Any guidance/advice is appreciated. 🙂
