Running a Pi 3B off my Ender 3’s PSU with an LM2596 buck (set ~5.15 V) → micro-USB. Multimeter showed 5.15 V at the buck, but I keep getting undervolt warnings. So I cranked the buck until I saw a solid 5.0 V at the Pi’s GPIO pins under load.

Is that the correct/safe way to set it, or should I be aiming a bit higher/lower at the GPIO?

@slaine I know. #VIA did keep a foot in #embedded since they were still offering new #C7 chips in 2016 and are only beaten by like DM&P's #Vortex86 SoC's and their #ICOP-branded #SOM|s...

This is why #RaspberryPi (and to an extent #DMP) own the market, as I can literally just order either conveniently online with not much of a hassle.

@bls true, but each has a unique host name. Ultimately, the students are modeling artists so this is part of the preparation and troubleshooting for if/when the installation breaks and they need to remote in to fix things. Screens are not part of the configuration - no additional hardware is allowed :) (and not just because we lost our funding…)
