@Lydie Not going to lie … my daily driver is a #RaspberryPi 5 with a Pimoroni NVME duo. 🤭 Entirely by design. Simple GUI and built-in apps. Spend most of the time in a terminal anyway. It’s done wonders for my productivity.

Update: I actually managed to downgrade my #iPhone 11 from #iOS 26.0 to iOS 18.6.2 (needed several tries tho), and even restore from my backup made on the same phone, on iOS 18.7, by upgrading to iOS 18.7 first after the downgrade. That's neat!
I also really love this setup I have, where I've a #Thunderbolt cable hooked to my computer (not at full speed tho, since my PC does not support #USB 4 😡), and a USB-C to Lightning (female) adapter that is MFI-certified. It makes it so easy for me to connect my iPhones (both Lightning and USB-C) to my PC, to create local backups or do things like this.
The actual software setup on my #Linux PC - for basic things like copying files/photos from the phone, I could do this natively on Linux and #KDE 's file manager, Dolphin which is super awesome. For other things relating to the iPhone, I have a basic #Windows VM that has the #Apple Devices app installed. This more modern app is so much neater and nicer to use than #iTunes, but is functionally the same. All of my iPhone/#iPod backups are done using this app, and are stored to my #RaspberryPi #OpenMediaVault #SMB #NAS.
So happy with this setup, and feels good to perform a downgrade - been a long while since I've done so!

Two more small things I've run into so far with XFCE on the pi:
1: video performance is visibly worse, using the exact same setup. As in, the same file played through the same install of Jellyfin through the same browser install of firefox on the same base Raspberry Pi Os (full) installation performs worse under the XFCE side than the PIXEL side. It's like it skips every other frame/is stuttery on the XFCE side.
I don't know enough #linux to figure out the details yet. I'm assuming it's...*shakes magic 8ball* a video compositor difference in the two DEs? Is that a thing?
2: I'm not 100% sure the software updater is gonna show up in the panel when there's updates.
