That brings me to that supreme scene in the first #Matrix film which I bet a whole bunch of us #neurodivergent people think about, when trying to address ourselves to the difficult problem of getting out of bed or whatever: "Trinity, get up!"
Now this is a magnificent practical example of "spoon magic". Trinity needs to take time to remind herself, in the middle of a fight, that no she HASN'T actually broken her legs or something like that because it's "The Matrix" and she ought to be able to get herself back to her feet. It's a touch and go thing but she manages to improvise a kind of rule-of-three spell on herself. She says "get up" to herself three times (I mean of course) and is able to swing herself back into action.
I've been looking for other movie scenes with a similar sort of punch to them. Here's a good one: Sarah Connor is in the Tech Noir club trying to hold out till the cops show up, but she's out of time and has the narrowest of escapes:

Mulla hajosi Matrixissa Signal siltayhteys. En voinut itse korjata. Ilm. Rollen heiniä tämä tämmöinen, kun en saanut omin neuvoin ratkottua.
Anyway. Siinä tulikin tilaisuus kokeilla asentaa terminaaliin Signal.
Suurin haaste tässä oli QR-koodi. Konsole ei osannut tulostaa QR-koodista kuvaa. WezTermissä se onnistui ja sain linkitettyä Signal appiin.
Käyttöliittymä on kyl melko retro ja hauska. Tulee vähän MSN Messenger vibat tosta, ilman sitä graafista käyttöliittymää. 😂
