Rethinking the Red & Blue Pill Paradigm
We need more pills (allusionally speaking).

Anyways, all the services mentioned in this thread, and many more, have been put together in a basic python library that lets you interface with any of them anywhere. Probably, to be safe, I recommend only using this behind a VPN:
https://github.com/TomCasavant/openllms
And also the Maubot plugin for matrix:
https://github.com/TomCasavant/openllms-maubot
I started experimenting with this theory late last weekend and realized that LLMs were deployed in customer support bots in dozens (if not hundreds?) of websites. And every single one was vulnerable to the same bug. So, I gathered all of them up, and packaged them in a little python library. Then I used that library to add all these LLMs to a Matrix room.
(the bot is named 'Tom'. I've only just realized how confusing this is in this context. But I assure you I did not name it and you cannot blame me for this. )

Isto valeu de revulsivo para provar a usar #matrix, assim que isso que já levo.
I wrote about using a website's search input to control my smart home (and other things)
https://tomcasavant.com/your-search-button-powers-my-smart-home/
Gave #matrix a try. Installed #synapse, #elementweb, #cinny on my RPi, and #fluffychat on mobile. SNI proxy on a VPS routes traffic to the home server to keep secret keys secret (yep, HTTPS everywhere makes no sense if everyone keeps their secrets in cloud)
What a bloatware! It's lame and messy. I'm afraid to show it to normies who I want to communicate with me.
No, no, no. This guy was right https://マリウス.com/giving-up-on-element-and-matrixorg/ XMPP is our everything.
Yuck.
@ctietze Interesting indeed. Are they using or even aware of modern moderation tools such as Meowlnir? I'm using it in my communities and have near-zero problems. Follow shared ban lists and abusers aren't even able to access the rooms. Majority of spam/abuse comes from bridged Telegram users.

@daniel never used WA, SIGNAL with some people, feeling at home with #matrix (#fluffy on ubuntu touch and Linux), being in #conversations with nobody (just once in a while - I guess people feel strangely alone there although I like it!) and testing #skred with somebody.

Okay, apparently the only other “mature” app is FluffyChat, as long as you can call something without working notifications “mature”. Next time I need a public chat I swear to god I do it on discord #matrix
