#game corrects our faults that #godot cannot correct.
I finally gave #Godot a try instead of programming everything on my own in #rustlang where I got stuck, because I don't have enough knowledge in that language yet. To make it a little extra complicated I use rust bindings for my Godot project, hopefully to have the best of both worlds. It feels like I can proceed faster in general if I use some help from the engine and don't have to program everything from scratch. I'm looking forward to it now. 😄

New post on my blurg about game data.
I have kind of landed on a pseudo-language, only a step-up from dictionaries, to describe game data.
It provides an OOP mechanism to inherit, override and add from previous data.
I am still hacking my code but will make a repo and share it asap.
Interested in your experiences and ideas about game code and how to let people mod it.
