i updated the automatic planet rover to be able to do a little more than just go in a straight line. it's still pretty chill though

I recorded a small demo showing the developed #ocean #shader in #godot.
All textures you see, including the water texture are made with material maker as usual.
@nuzcraft yeah, it allows you to get an idea for balancing and feasibility before even touching #Godot to begin with.

This is the result of a whole weekend working on cloth simulation. There's still things to improve but it looks good so far.

Do you think it's poss to start a fully open voxel-based fully modable game project in Godot?
It would provide basic world/biome, blocks, enemy ai, other ai, player fps, crafting, inventory and so on. Over that would be modding of all systems, with mods as a priority, not an afterthought. Since all open and Godot, probs fairly easy: mods use the source project and mutate.
The project is kind of an open voxel fps survival world engine. Mods are the actual games.
