"It's decentralized! It's open!" they've said. But, despite all doubts from the very beginning, #Bluesky is no option for an open and decentralized web at all. There ARE reasons for protecting users under 18, but cutting a whole (well, #US!) state off the platform is simply a certain kind of #censorship.
There was hope for this service but the crypto-bro-background and the state of the #USA did a complete disservice to the platform, disqualifying it as an alternative for any federated, decentralized and free network like #Mastodon and Co.!

@asherwolf.bsky.social bluesky already has age verification in place for access to the chats/message feature. I do not know if this is a good thing or a bad thing to achieve before Australia locks in it's own age verification requirements.

#Bluesky ha triat bloquejar l'accés a la seva xarxa a tots els usuaris del estat de Mississipi per evitar arriscar-se a multes de fins a 10.000 dòlars per infracció. El motiu és la llei de verificació d'edat. A Bluesky no els importa massa els seus usuaris, usuaris que no tenen altre manera de fer servir Bluesky, estan forçadament desconnectats.
En el fedivers sí que tens l'opció de migrar a un altre servidor.
