Honestly, I don't really care what strategy other #ActivityPub implementations follow to comply with the spec. (I solved it in #Fedify by just using a proper JSON-LD processor.) It's just a bit annoying that I always send valid JSON-LD documents, but whenever I encounter an interoperability bug where the other side can't process them, I'm the one who has to send them a patch to fix it. 😩

Or, just use a proper JSON-LD processor altogether. Of course, there would be a performance penalty. The #ActivityPub spec explicitly allows as:Public or bare Public for public addressing in to/cc, etc., but surprisingly many implementations don't handle this. All of this would actually be solved by using a JSON-LD processor.

I hope more #ActivityPub implementations start properly handling JSON-LD documents in various forms, rather than using ad-hoc approaches like only allowing specific fields to accept both arrays and scalar values.

Seguire "manualmente" altri profili, induce l'istanza ad ampliare la federazione.

Quando le istanze di #fediverso #ActivityPub perdono traffico, si spengono anche le federazioni, e il mondo visibile si restringe di conseguenza.
Da un lato potrebbe essere anche un vantaggio, per evitare esposizioni più del dovuto, ma l'effetto, alla fin dei conti, è simile all' Effetto Bolla che avviene con algoritmi commerciali.

Is there a #fediverse enabled #blog (or something like that) which supports long posts which are regularly extended and treats them like growing threads?
I want to write my daily stories in a way that they can be followed/found from e.g. mastodon, but also be read in one page.
Or maybe I could just teach #silverbullet to publish both the whole page and the latest paragraph to separate systems.

No protocolo zot6 da hubzilla, por exemplo, sua identidade é nômade e não fica vinculada a uma instância.
Se um servidor cair, você move sua identidade para outro servidor inclusive pode manter a mesma sincronizada/clonada em mais de um servidor.
