Progress update: the #YunoHost installation on my Raspi went well… but I encountered an unexpected problem and can’t login…
Terminal doesn’t recognize the @ key from my Italian keyboard… 🫠
Now going on a scavenger hunt for another USB keyboard (dad worked in IT so we should have another somewhere… or maybe an old one from my college days in the US)

Encore pas mal de choses à récupérer puis à transférer pour #selfhost
1. Fermer mon compte médium
2. Fermer mon compte substack
3. Récupérer toutes mes traces sur komoot
4. Les transférer dans FitTrackee sur #yunohost
5. Finir de transférer mes récits sur mon blog
6. Finir de migrer mon site www.fausse route.com #softr vers #automad en selfhost // quasi pret
7. Récupérer le contenu du site familiale softr pour le transférer sur un second #automad selfhosté
8. Fermer mon compte #softr
9. Chercher les comptes en ligne restant et inutilisés ou très #silo pour en sortir..... Je pense à #strava, #500px et quoi d'autre encore....
Bref plein de projets pour tout récupérer.
Et c'est passionnant et tellement réjouissant d'avoir tout à domicile et de l'exposer comme je veux.

@genma proxmox mais même pas tenté les autres ... en tout cas mes serveurs sont/étaient des petits i3 et j'ai pensé plutôt les installations comme machines autonomes de services collectifs pour des asso. Vite montée, vite installée, faciles à transférer, les scripts comme https://tteck.github.io/Proxmox/ ont bien aidés et surtout Yunohost!
Bon maintenant j'ai grossi un peu vers AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, un monstre pour nous, mais toujours basse conso.

Happy to report, I only noticed that AWS was down, because I read about it on Mastodon.
My life went on like normal, chats with family and friends (self-hosted #XMPP and some #Matrix) uninterrupted, news feeds (via self-hosted #Nextcloud on #YunoHost) worked fine and the few websited that checked today so far were also OK.
(Things may be different, when I turn on my work laptop, let's see.)

1. Installed #yunohost
2. Google photo freed myself
3. SelfHosted my blog with #pelican
4. Installed #FitTrackee to host my riding and hiking GPX to get free from komoot
5. Installed #Fusion as RSS server
6. Installed Peertube
7. #N8N to automate
8. and #listmonk to manage my side project
Self-hosting is so joyful...
And there is so much I want to do....

@cantences Hier meine Antwort, warum ich mich für #Umbrel entschieden habe:
Weil ich keine Ports am Router aus Sicherheitsgründen öffnen wollte.
Bei #yunohost konnte ich in der Firewall erkennen, das der Server im Minutentakt bei mir Zuhause angegriffen wurde.
Die IP -Adressen kamen oft aus China, Niederlande und aus Russland. Natürlich muss ich den Nachteil in Kauf nehmen, das ich keine öffentlichen Links teilen kann, damit kann ich aber gut leben.
