One of the applications I stumbled across on my #YunoHost server is #AdGuard, which for those that might not be familiar is a whole-network ad-blocking tool. It works by acting as a DNS server for all your connected devices. Once it’s up and running you basically point your router to use the AdGuard as your DNS instead of your regular upstream server. Extra #privacy is a bonus too.
I already have a PiHole but I’d say AdGuard is way more user friendly and intuitive.

The migrations in this release are quite long (can take several hours, even!), as we had to rethread the entire statuses table to handle the new way we cache status threads. Please plan downtime accordingly, hang in there, be patient, and don't be tempted to interrupt the migration process.

A new #GoToSocial version is out and I'll be updating (via #YunoHost) so I can use it.
I typically refrain from updating too quickly but I'm experiencing weird bugs in Ivory for iOS (cannot like posts) so I'm curious to see if anything improves.

Corrigée dans #Debian https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/redis-server (et par conséquent dans #Yunohost). Faites vos mises à jour. Pour rappel, Redis est utilisé comme cache pour #Nextcloud par exemple.

Well, I think (I hope) I’ve finally reached the final iteration of my #SelfHosted instance setup.
I’ve met all my objectives in that it runs as a headless, virtualized session on my Linux Mint desktop, can survive an unexpected power failure, and can be fully remotely administered from anywhere.
I’m currently cutting an image for backup purposes.
A big shoutout to #Yunohost for making the process of self-hosting something that even relative Linux novices can accomplish. I highly recommend this as a way for folks to free themselves from dependency on corporate-controlled platforms.

Lo que no acabo de comprender del tema de Chat Control es que si me instalo un servidor de, por ejemplo, @simplex cosa que se puede hacer fácilmente desde #yunohost por ejemplo, y lo uso en las cuatro cuentas de mi familia y amigos ¿Tengo la obligación, siendo un particular que no ofrece un servicio público, sino que es privado, de descifrar los mensajes? ¿Cómo lo hago si no tengo los medios ni los conocimientos técnicos para ello? ¿Software como el de Simplex será ilegal? ¿Cómo va a saber la administración que lo estoy usando si yo no digo nada?

How can I provide them one or more #email addresses using @postcrescita.it, that they can regularly use through a mail client, without compromising Ghost’s (required) email functionality?
