Got the computer today! Looks good for a little workstatioin and runs fine. I'll post pictures later. Installing #YunoHost atm. I was told it would only be a few minutes, but that's assuming a VPS with SSDs. I'm using that 5200rpm HDD and it's s l o w . Think I'll get tot he end of the DNS stuff and give up for the day.

Backing up things is pretty standard / low stakes.
But I just noticed that virtually ALL the apps on my #YunoHost system have available updates, which means... the hair-raising, palpitations-inducing, let's say a little prayer practice of creating a snapshot of my VPS (easy peasy) and clicking on "Upgrade" by order of importance.
#Fail2Ban and #LinkStack were pretty low stakes - done, no sweat. Plus I love how YunoHost creates backups before upgrading, so you can always revert back if something goes wrong.
Anyway, Pixelfed now and then my sacred triad of GoToSocial, NextCloud and PeerTube.

#yunohost and #nextcloud users beware during upgrades, failed nextcloud upgrades might delete it from your install
please do check wether you can upgrade nextcloud 1st, and that you have no incompatibilities. forum thread includes a script for that:

Bon, je viens de lancer la mise Ă jour #n8n sur mon #yunohost et..... 504 bad gateway...
N8N a disparu.... Je fais quoi maintenant ?!?
Me parlez pas de backup... Dans la semaine j'ai fait tellement de modif de workflow que repartir de 0 reviendrait au meme.
