If someone wants to help to maintain akkoma on Yunohost... It's the only one I want to install and use but it's the only one that doesn't work properly.

@pileus @florent_mignot Ce que j'ai constaté:
#Yunohost, ça te permet d'installer plein de trucs, pour te rendre compte que tu n'en utilises qu'un seul finalement.

questions for #yunohost admins:

how do you manage the hard disk clonation from a smaller HR (256gb) do a bigger one (1TB)?

any suggestion?
any guide?
any official procedure?

(reshare would be appreciated)

I think it would be useful to have #Snac on #Yunohost app marketplace, Snac is easy to deploy, but one click install + domain management from YunoHost would help a lot.

@_elena You know...I have a project that uses #yunohost and #meshtastic together. Maybe I should do a blog post or something.

Its a once a day weather report for my region. It posts at around 6:00 am the weather pulled from NWS. Its useful both as a weather report but also a test to see if people get the messages. If they do, they know their node is in a good spot.

Looks like this:

@ryan I’ve been running vanilla Debian to host my containers in my homelab for the past year or so. It has been rock solid with no issues. When it comes time to upgrade, I am thinking about going with YunoHost (also based on Debian), as it automates a lot of the manual configuration stuff.

Of course, I would not have LEARNED as much as I have had I not done it myself in the first place, so there’s that…

My experience of the :

Year 1 (2023):
It feels a little lonely as 99% of my friends stayed on Big Tech platforms.

Year 2 (2024):
I start a blog - - to explain the fediverse to "normies"... and I make a lot of new (techie) friends.

Year 3 (2025):
My techie friends encourage me to start self-hosting with ... and I do! (GoToSocial, PeerTube, NextCloud...) I LOVE it.

Year 4 (2026):
I plan to buy a Heltec to try out off-grid mesh radio communication 💁‍♀️
