Current #raspberrypi project taking shape. Just 2 more elements and can connect 5 SATA drives to my Pi5 #Geeworm X1009. Not expecting blistering speeds but as goal is low powered redundant copy of my main media server that's fine

If I were a rich philanthropist, I think it would be fun to visit every elementary school, and award #Autistic kids who did well in Math or Computer Science with a free and fully accessorized #RaspberryPi 500+. This way they could all network together with the other Autistic kids who also won the same - in case they have few friends in school. At least they would have each other. They could come up with geeky ways of interacting with each other, like sharing files with each other through #copyparty or some such.

Ars Technica: Raspberry Pi 500+ puts the Pi, 16GB of RAM, and a real SSD in a mechanical keyboard. “Raspberry Pi 500+ [is] an amped-up version of the keyboard computer with 16GB of RAM instead of 8GB, a 256GB NVMe SSD instead of microSD storage, and a fancier keyboard with mechanical switches, replaceable keycaps, and individually programmable RGB LEDs.”

Today I set up a Raspberry Pi 4B with Debian-based Raspberry Pi OS Lite.

It has a Podman container running as a user, daemonless and rootless, using systemd.

The container is running Alpine Linux with ddclient to keep my dynamic DNS up to date.

Next, I'd like to set up another container with DNS, likely Pi-Hole.

I guess I was gone, because we had someone over for the last few days, sleeping in the living room, and I unplugged the fans of the servers for a better ⭐ sleeping experience ⭐

But all of them decided to overheat, thus the downtime, hehe
