@Badener1848 Das „gerade“ zieht sich. Man hat den Eindruck, #Paypal will einen gar nicht ziehen lassen, auch wenn der Support stets „großes Verständnis“ äußert. Die Entscheidung gegen diesen Anbieter bekräftigt sich mit jeder Stunde, die man abwarten muss.

After a long arduous restless night of pain, the old man drags his lifeless stiff corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged rocky thorns, without even a breath in his chest and unable to see, as the classical music plays he drags himself off to prepare his coffee, as his hands tremble he pours in the water and measures the scoops of grind, fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee beings to perc he stumbles off to the toilet, where his bowels bellow out in a hungerous roar of pain, in the mirror stands a man unable to find himself as he stares off into the abyss, his hair and beard disheveled he reaches for the brush but struggles with the simple task and sighs who cares anyways, shuffling back to his bed he struggles to pull on his socks and pants, he manages to pour a cup of coffee and gently packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, he pulls on his coat and staggers outside, the morning is dark cool and moist, as the world begins to wake, not even one seems to take notice nor cares for the enduring plight the old man is forced to face day after day;

Gerade dabei, ein #PayPal -Konto zu schließen. Das ist fast ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit, wenn das Konto aus irgendwelchen Gründen gesperrt oder eingeschränkt ist. Der vermeintliche Kundenservice ist die Katastrophe, es gibt keine offizielle Mailadresse und einen fürchterlich schlechten KI-Bot. Bin ich froh, wenn das vorbei ist.

Wero, das europäische Paypal – alles weird, oder was?
Irgendwie ist das europäische Zahlsystem Wero schon irgendwie weird. Wero soll endlich die Alternative zu Paypal werden, was ich begrüße. Doch dann erwarte ich auch eine ähnlich einfache Benutzererfahrung. Um dann festzustellen, dass ich das Problem vor dem Display bin. Einerseits. Andererseits ist Wero für mich noch keine benutzerfreundliche Paypal-Alternative. @oldperl Meine Frau hat mir gestern die neue Daten"schutz"erklärung" von #paypal gezeigt: auf 59 (!) Seiten wird da beschrieben, welche Daten erhoben werden, wie sie sie selbst nutzen und mit wem sie sie teilen.
Ich bin der Meinung: wenn man nicht in drei Sätzen erklären kann, wie man mit Kundendaten umgeht, läuft etwas gehörig falsch.
Ich freue mich, daß sie das zum Anlaß genommen hat, bei dem Verein zu kündigen.
