By the numbers, one thing is sure, time is running out, O sure time is forever, but by the numbers, time for Humans is running out, how slow or how fast depend on various factors, but the end is the same, currently Humans are most likely to exterminate themselves through greed and unjustified fear and hatred, than by say alien invasion, but I suppose the how really never mattered, otherwise there would be massive strides in humanity, environmental protection, eliminating greed hate illness war hunger poverty, there would huge progress on unified unity, but sadly no nothing related to Humanity is actually being pursued, by the numbers time, it's running out;

#Crockpot creation I lost track what number, 1 onion diced up, 5 smallish potatoes diced up, 1 bag of frozen peppers 1 bag of frozen gumbo soup mix, 1 28oz can diced tomatoes, 1 28oz can of Rotel tomatoes, 1 stick of butter, 1 box of chicken stock, some garlic powder, ground pepper, red pepper flakes, salt and italian seasoning, set on high for 6 hours, not sure how it's going to come out, but I know it will be a warm meal with a little flare for taste;

After a long restless sleepless night of pain, the old man drags his cold lifeless corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged thorny steel shards, without even so much as a breath in his chest and unable to think or see, as the classical music plays he drags himself off to prepare his coffee, with his hands trembling he pours in the water and measures the scoops of grind, fumbling with shaking hands he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee begins to perc he stumbles off to the toilet, where his bowel howl out in a hungerous roar, in the mirror a tired face stares off into the abyss, his hair and beard greasy and disheveled, the old man disrobes and slides into the shower, the hot water offers no relief, his muscles strain as he brushes his teeth, scrubs his hair and beard, his hands can barely hold and control the soap as he washes his body, exhausted he shuts off the water and begins to dry off, carefully he slips out of the shower nearly landing on the floor, the arduous task of brushing out his hair and beard steal what strength remains, shuffling back to his bed the old man struggles to pull on a clean union undergarment, his socks and pants, then he pours a cup of coffee and gently packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, he pulls on his coat and stumbles outside, the morning sun is soaked in moist dark clouds, the air is cool and heavy, as the world awakens, not one soul takes notice to care for the enduring hell the old man is trapped within;
