Pour un'e fonctionnaire rattaché'e au ministère du développement durable, l'url de son serveur sera "agent.dev-durable.tchap.gouv.fr"
En général les différentes applis matrix indiquent par défaut "matrix.org", comme fournisseur de compte. Il faut donc bien penser à changer ça.
Ă€ noter que l'appli matrix FluffyChat est multicomptes, donc on peut facilement jongler entre son compte matrix pro et son compte matrix perso.

Tchap est la messagerie sécurisée que toustes les fonctionnaires de France devront utiliser à partir du 1er septembre.
Tchap est un réseau matrix fermé.
Avec un compte tchap, pas possible donc de rejoindre les salons publics du réseau matrix ouvert et fédéré.
Par contre on peut utiliser les mĂŞmes applis matrix, donc toutes celles-ci : https://matrix.org/ecosystem/clients
Une fois son compte tchap crée (https://www.tchap.gouv.fr/#/register), on se retrouve avec un identifiant matrix de type
@prenom.nom-urldelecole:agent.education.tchap.fr quand on est prof.
Donc au moment de la connexion, l'url Ă rentrer pour son serveur est agent.education.tchap.fr

Rightful. I was thinking about it and I think it is necessary for #XMPP and #Matrix to implement a "the privacy of this server/account is compromised" flag to deal with people using #taintedClients
Given the richness of the #Xmpp extensions I won't be surprised to discover it is a problem already dealt with.

@JulietEMcKenna the mindfulness comes into play when you look at how it is basically going to be a free commodity and also that it is getting better at an extremely rapid rate, the domain creep is real but you have to be realistic, it is a force multiplier just like code is, we will see breakthroughs attributed to ai, protein folding has already happened so ai doesn't really need to justify itself at this point #matrix multiplication

Considering setting up Conduit on a subdomain, joining an account to all my rooms, switching off Synapse, replacing Synapse with Conduit and joining all rooms again, then leaving with the first Conduit.
Just because that seems like this would be the only way I could migrate from Synapse to Conduit while keeping rooms.
All that just because Synapse is a really slow #matrix server (I know Matrix is just slow, but Synapse certainly does not help).
