La Francia rende obbligatorio l’utilizzo di una sua chat di Stato. Al bando definitivamente Whatsapp e simili nella PA (Telegram e Signal), promossa invece a pieno titolo Tchap, la app di casa dedicata espressamente a tutti i dipendenti pubblici dello Stato.
L’app è costruita su #Element, un client open source che utilizza il protocollo #Matrix, anch’esso open source. Questa architettura consente la gestione sicura sia dei contenuti che dei metadati.

The worst for me:
- decryption problems
- client startup time
- lack of search
- having 3 clients which all suck in different ways
- not all my clients supporting threads
- lack of self-destructing messages
