Mastodon has suddenly started showing me a "who to follow" post. Some of the posts are labelled "personalized suggestion". Is this a recently added feature? I see that I can click "Don't show again", but I'd like to know where this is coming from before I disable it.

I did the 4.5 Mastodon update on my test instance tonight, in preparation for doing this server on Saturday.
You all better have Node 20.19.5 installed and on by default, or it won't build properly, and the streaming service won't run.
I hit this snag on my first try.

Nota adicional: El plugin que integra cualquier sitio WordPress con el Fediverso es una maravilla, gracias al trabajo de @pfefferle un sitio web cualquiera puede hacer que sus publicaciones de blog (y otros contenidos) se conviertan en publicaciones visibles e interactuables desde Mastodon o cualquier otro sistema del Fediverso, con la nueva versión de Mastodon 4.5 incluso es posible citar una página.
Hay mucho por aprender, es importante que los sitios cuenten con buenos recursos y cachés bien configurado, la publicación anterior fue republicada por @blogdiva y con ese RT el sitio web colapsó 😆 (específicamente se corrieron más procesos de php-fpm de los que podía el servidor)
Ya le puse más recursos al servidor donde corre ese WordPress y ajusté parámetros de PHP, y para monitorear qué pasa si vuelvo a publicar la misma cita y el sitio vuelve a recibir muchas visitas en estampida del Fediverso.

#Mastodon v4.5 で投稿の引用リンクを書き込むと、引用元の承認待ち表示がでる。確かに投稿の著作権の問題があるので、それがまっとうな道かも知れない。
従って、投稿をリンクするのではなく、その投稿のリンク先をリンクする方が、変な承認待ち表示がでなくて良いと思う。
