A už mám #Mastodon 4.5.0 s podporou citovaných postů taky.
Jsem zvědav, co to se sociální sítí udělá.

Větší radost mi dělá podpora donačítání odpovědí na rozkliknutý příspěvek z dalších serverů. Na mé solo instanci jsem totiž často viděl pod příspěvky z jiných serverů jen pár odpovědí, někdy i žádné, takže jsem se nemohl pořádně zapojit do konverzace.

Als er Mastodon gegründet hat, war Erfinder Eugen Rochko gegen die Zitierfunktion. Später hat sich seine Meinung geändert und ein Update führt sie jetzt ein
- Version 4.5 freigegeben, damit können auf dem Kurznachrichtendienst - nun andere Beiträge zitiert werden
soll Mastodon nun außerdem automatisch nach Antworten unter Beiträgen suchen, die von Usern kommen, deren Instanz dem eigenen Server nicht bekannt ist

What I don't understand with the new quote feature for Mastodon is why the link has to be at the beginning of the post and not at the end. It breaks existing implementations in many apps.

Also: When you put the reference at the top in the post itself why is the interpretation of the Frontend to show at below the post?

The interpretation of the frontend should show it at the top in my opinion as you often need to know what there person quoting a post is referencing. In a long post that can be extremely unclear until the reader scrolls all the way to the bottom.
