GOING LIVE TONIGHT!
What's this? A GAME DEV stream? Yes, and it's a Godot project that I've been working on recently. Come Join as I have trouble coding and testing the game!

I just added recipe unlock notifications, and I think it's about time i start updating some of these, so they don't all just require wood 😂
Today I was really struggling with the missing support for any type of refactoring in the built-in editor for gdscript - search & replace doesn't count.
And the fact that you cannot move the debugger into a separate window (these value fields are so so small).
I ended up installing Rider. Which has a semi-working rename refactor for gdscript but a well working debugger and inspector. Hot reload works as well.
I hope this PR [1] makes it.

I will be at #godotcon in Amsterdam on April 23rd and 24th. Really looking forward to meeting like-minded people there again. #godotengine #godot #godotrust

Shield based immunities are in.
Pictured: The bubble shield making you immune to drowning.
Not Pictured: Thunder shield protecting you from electricity, and Fire shield protecting you from fire.
And invincibility. It's also in.
Next up projectile rebound on shields.
The Chain of Responsibility pattern I'm using is actually really good for asking abilities for stuff (like immunities, or if a shield is active, or invulnerability)

After having an easy time consuming the #Tumblr API in the process of building a ref aggregator libre app for artists (by the way, https://codeberg.org/MinotaursAtWork/Paintotaur ), attempting to do the same for #Pinterest has been hell. Pinterest only allows for API use from business accounts for the purpose of marketing, it's so depressing. 🐂🔧
