So I’ve been tinkering with Mixamo auto-rigging and animations, and it’s pretty cool to get instant results, but I haven’t been super happy with the workflow. Honestly, I kinda find my janky animations charming and retro.
I’m going to reset my rig and just do it by hand.

After much tracing of bugs, I've converted Goods from Strings to Resources.
I can now store more info in each Good, such as Price, Weight, and flags from can_import and can_export.
I've got to go through the Display system, to show the Names of each Good rather than Resource-4384239852309!

The new Entity, World State and Replication system is working!
Here it's syncing 24 cubes and two movers (the chars are not based on entities yet) from a server to 3 clients.
The server's world state is authoritative - clients merely follow updates they get.
Super simple for now - full world state is sent to all clients every server tick.
Not optimal or resilient at all - there is a lot of work ahead!

I've been quietly refactoring some of the earliest code in Solaria, making it easier to build on top of and meaning I'm finally making progress again. It feels great!
But that's been my last few weeks so as a break, SOMEONE (who knows who he is but shall not be named) talked me into trying to make a clicker game for the #GodotWildJam
Why a clicker game? Idk we just thought they sounded easy. Never played one, so whether that's true remains to be seen...

Today I worked on the background animation for the Space Theme of Isotris. I think the animation looks pretty cool!
There are other themes I want to work on. Some of them will be in the release version (by the way, I think I need to set the date...).
I'm planning to release the game with some theme options, and then I will make more themes available as DLC on Itch. I will need to learn how to handle DLC material.

Discovered you can launch scenes from another folder with additional_options and the --scene arg.
I don't know why the main addon's scene field doesn't support variables there when the project one does.
