In terms of fps performance, does it make a big difference to have:
2 different trees, 2 draw calls, 2x 1K texture
Or
2 different trees in one draw call with a 2K texture atlas.

Struggling with Data Structures.
Gatherables (Trees, Rocks, Mines) hold data on what resources they supply, how much they hold, and how much can be gathered at once. This is held in a Dictionary [Good, Total], and an int amount_gathered.
But a few locations (Ruins, Rubble) have multiple Goods, and I might want differing amounts gathered.
Is there an easy way to put it all in one variable?
Type, Total, Gathered
Stone, 1000, 5
Logs, 200, 10

(just a little test currently: in godot 4.5 (beta5) having a desktop pet on top of all other windows actually works. Primary WM is Wayland, so it guess its some xwayland magic)
current issue: the window size (here of the "main" - node) is smaller than the polygon2d area, but i should be come up with a solution

I think I've converted all the Gatherables so that the Target Location holds more of the data (What it supplies, how much it holds, how much to gather at a time)

@HungryProton Nice. Combined it with a two texture noise blending.
Makes it really hard for the brain to see a pattern.
