Switching to Linux (Mint) as a #godot #gamedev: easy mode, with fantastic tools like Jetbrains products and SmartGit for source control - it immediately feels like home, without Microsoft's forced rotten direction. This is coming from a Windows fan since the 3.1 era, btw.

Just made a little experiment, I copied my project and ran it in Godot 4.5, and it worked flawlessly (for now). Kudos to all contributors! Thinking if I should move the project to 4.5...
Anyway, I'm working now on making the counters more dynamic and stylish. This is not the final version (and it is counting backwards). What do you think?
Just released a web version for our previous ludum dare game, if you didn't play it during release now is another chance: https://pikario.itch.io/the-operator/devlog/1090657/12-update-web-version-available

Our first time at the Frankfurt Book Fair was an absolute blast! 🤩
As a visual novel game, it was especially exciting to be part of a book fair — such a perfect crossover between storytelling and gaming!
A huge thank-you to Medien.Bayern for making our participation possible.
We loved gaining new insights into the global book publishing industry and connecting with so many inspiring people from around the world.

This is the Steam trailer for Star Spark that I'd been working on!
The game isn't done, but just having the store page is a big milestone for me.
Wishlist it if you like what you see!

Primero charlaremos sobre las futuras y jugosas novedades de #Godot 4.6 y luego seguiremos con nuestro Remake en de "Los Justicieros".
Ven a charlar, a preguntar y a trabajar juntos.
I hit 777 in both game soundtracks owned AND hours spent in Godot, seems fitting since I always listen to soundtracks when working in Godot.:) #soundtrack #gamdev #godot

Turscar Isle is now at v0.5, featuring a proper Game Over cutscene, the ability to move dead spammers around, and a save/load mechanism.

I also want to share this tiny useful script I use to build the project. I set up the export presets in Godot, but I don't export the project from the editor. I just run this script that builds everything and pushes it all directly to Itch.io.

Behind my games: THE COMMUTE https://bitbrain.itch.io/the-commute
I built this game solo in 48 hours during the GDL summer jam 2020. It was my first game built with #godot and since it was the middle of COVID, I decided to create a game about it. Especially about the reluctance of some people to refuse wearing a mask.
Fun fact: the sound of the train is the original sound of the London tube, that I perfectly timed with the animation. 🚋
