Tinkering with a gdscript tool script to automate the importing of mesh libraries for 3d gridmaps, because there is no way I'm going to re-do this all by hand every time I add or modify an item in a mesh library.
Getting the basics working was not bad (found various discussions of this issue and this type of workaround that had helpful pointers), but need to decide exactly how to manage ID re-use, etc.
Found a little Blender addon to auto-export glTF on save.

This was me working on the AI of my werewolf game all day wondering why the enemy wasn't tracking to the player. Then, I used an export variable, and then it worked the way I wanted it.

Did another pass on my trees. Felt the leaf mask around the shell was to noisy and I decided to remove it. Some altered normals to try to make it look a bit more pastel shading.
