I upgraded Samory to Godot 4.6 as there was no real change for that project.

Also fixed a minor bug in the deck viewer. As always check it out on itch or GitHub. The AUR package is also already up to date.

So, we've been quiet for a while. However, we're still here. As mentioned previously, we've put our FPS game on the side for another game idea. But first, we've decided to create a new @godotengine plugin which will utilize @godotsteam at its core. This plugin will be called the "Steam Multiplayer Manager" plugin. This feels like a hack, but it seems to work, creating a SubViewport around an object to take a "screenshot" of it into a texture and then multiple sprites with its own region of the texture == word go boom 💥
But getting used to how #Godot thinks, I probably missed a "split Node into multiple segments" button somewhere :P

My bloxel editor for #Godot now supports multiple materials (was only one, before), with UV scaling (you can stretch them over several bloxels).

I've started working on the system to build machines, which will be a central aspect of the game.

Nothing fancy so far, but I'm making progress. Still need to make wheels that actually roll, add the possibility to lock the direction, and this should already allow building a vehicle.

All in all, I feel this is easier to do with Godot than my first prototype with Unreal Engine.

Blades in the Dark Playbook in Godot
Running into data-storage questions.
2 Current questions:
1) Save Scoundrel (etc) Data so it is available next time app is run.
2) call additional Data (e.g. list of Crews) for Scoundrel to pick from/add to.
