This is a very good idea, working with layers can be confusing in #godot . "collision presets" both for layers and masks together:

Nice new #Godot update and a new #GodotSteam precompiled bundle. Same ol' tag but no new patches in there though, and missing the Android version until I can fix it up. But get a slice:

GodotSteam 4.17.1
codeberg.org/godotsteam/godots

GodotSteam Server 4.8.1
codeberg.org/godotsteam/godots

And we are still on track for Discord closure in about two weeks. We've been camping out on Stoat and IRC but also checking out Fluxer. Even popped up a little group on Steam after all these years!

got some rudimentary animation going. 3600 units cycling between 2 random animations. The animation itself is done via a vertex animation texture.

Meantime in Dumphead Knight, Warlock's minions slowly have AI, working on a simple magic system, and of course...

Damn, I don't know why I didn't try out game engines like #godot before, my ego prevented me from quick results for way too long 😅

Had a heck of a time with using large world sizes with #Godot on mac, so I did a little write-up on it if you're facing similar issues.

I implemented a very simple touch swipe control in my #godot prototype. Since I won't use it for the game I created a blog post how to set it up, to not forget about it: blog.holloway-web.de/create-mo

Caught a frustrating bit of #Godot news, and don't even know what to say.

If you're someone who ignores the science, and for some reason still chooses to poison your own abilities by using GenAI, don't make it other people's problem.

Clearly admitting to that Is literally the *least* you can do. When you quietly claim the result as your own work, you leave other people trying to teach you how to fix something that you neither made nor understand.

I understand it probably feels nice to think you're contributing, but you're essentially contributing to a DDoS attack on the project, and getting in other maintainers ways.
