The Godot AssetLib is in need of a lot of love and QoL features.
It feels like every plugin I open is abandoned or not compatible with the current version of Godot.
Or am I missing something like a third party asset library?
Added some detail to this apartment building in Robot Shooter. The textures actually have something going on now.
I also spent some time adding some subtle lighting. Indirect light wasn't giving me the effect I wanted so I faked it. Now the building is less flat looking IMO.
Still more to do

Open-source game engine Godot is drowning in 'AI slop' code contributions: 'I don't know how long we can keep it up'

Godot
Blades in the Dark
Another new feature added: Another refactor needed!
All (not all) of my "generic" Signals are connected to ScoundrelManager.
When I connect CrewManager, I might hit some collisions.
If I do the refactor I was previously thinking of, I'll have to do some serious "is this meant for Crew or Scoundrel (or other, yet to be built, sections)?" checking.
Or rebuild it differently...
<sigh>

Wanted to see how it feels to build a GUI for desktop app with Godot.
This is the result of a day of playing around with containers, drag&drop, themes and adding tags to bbcode.
Feels good. Not bad at all.
I have a small tool in mind that I want to build with this.
Okiedokie. Because I love you all, here's an explanation of how GIT plays into the "ai slop pr" discussion surrounding #Godot, why ai code isn't making it into the engine, and how you can help: https://youtu.be/ZEDYFndQ5l8
Another unexpected side-effect of #AI use in #gamedev is the reduced switching costs between engines. I had my VoxImporter plugin converted to Blender very quickly, which now has opened the possibility to migrate my game to the #Godot engine.

Prevent danger in day #399 of #Godot games using #GodotSteam! Today is Workers Comp by Feline Fowl! A snazzy, well-polished co-op game where you fix up collapsing high-tech facilities as customizable robots. Not out yet so give it wishlist love!

With #Godot 4.6 you can create proper Patch PCKs for your applications. This feature also opens doors for Versions, DLCs and even Modding possibilities
