Can't wait for this fix [1] to land.

I am building a custom in-game property inspector that I can use in my game UI. It should work in the editor and when the game is running.

Stumbled upon a known bug that the @Tool directive changes the behavior of the usage-flags of @export properties in get_property_list().

Basically not showing the proper usage flags when running in editor vs in-game. In this case "PROPERTY_USAGE_SCRIPT_VARIABLE"

I don't believe that the official docs explain this anywhere, but...

The _sc_ file that forces the Godot editor to run in the self-contained mode can also contain initial settings and a list of default projects to import.

Super handy when juggling a lot of Godot versions without cross-pollinating!

(Project paths are relative to the Godot executable, for whatever reason.)
