@mastodonmigration not gonna happen.
They tolerate the nazi bar, because the bulletin board there generates numbers for them.

What it would take is a few influential #Bluesky accounts to coordinate on a strategy to lead an exodus to Public Social Media.
Understand that some folks feel burned by their previous experiences here, but Mastodon is not what it was then, and you have the collective power to assert your influence over what Public Social Media will become.
Today, lots of people are linking Laurens' and Erin's articles about how #Bluesky is structurally incapable of defending itself from the invasion of US government troll accounts.
This is true. So Bluesky users, what are you going to do about it? 🤷
How about joining us in building truly defensible Public Social Media.

😄🙌🥳 https://www.metacheles.de/bluesky-der-traum-ist-vorbei/
People who use a bridge between Mastodon and #Bluesky, what service do you use, and what are your thoughts on using it?

And @laurenshof has an good post as well - https://connectedplaces.leaflet.pub/3m3nci5fap22n
“People aren’t misguided to want shelter from surveillance and harassment, or to seek high-context, community-centric moderation; all echo-chamber punditry notwithstanding, those are necessary conditions when life online has such direct and dramatic effects on the character of our offline societies.”
Another excellent, thoughtful piece by @kissane that neatly summarizes some of the challenges facing our fledgling open networks.

Here's an excellent post by Erin Kissane on the situation.
