@mastodonmigration You appear to be implying that #Mastodon regulars are politely disagreeing with others, such as newcomers, and respectfully asking people to do things such as consider decorum.

That is not always what’s been happening.
What’s sometimes happening is nihilists, both-sides-ers, purity testers and other toxics are driving people off. Sometimes to #bluesky . People I used to follow here are there now, due to bullying and harassment, some I’ve seen myself.
