My family has been in poverty for years. We cannot even afford to get my Mom to her surgery on Tuesday. My dad has been skipping psych meds to make ends meet sometimes.

I'm not sure I've ever seen re.match() used when it wasn't being used by mistake.
If you think you want re.match(), you probably want either re.search() or re.fullmatch() instead.
When matching a regex against a string, we're usually either trying to:
1. Find a regular expression within a string
2. Match a regular expression against a whole string
re.match() does neither of those!

My biggest #Mastodon pet peeve so far is the fact that in the "Advanced Web Interface" a good 30-40% of my screen is simply left unused and the fix would be one line of #CSS: Putting `flex-grow: 1` on the `column` class.
And yet despite numerous issues raised about this since like 2018 (see https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/8632 for the list) it was only ever met with silence or the issue being closed with an irrelevant PR being linked.
I know how to use Tampermonkey or inject CSS. It shouldn't be necessary.

We're starving, we hardly eat & don't have a car. We're all incredibly ill, both physically and mentally w/ only 1/5 members of my house capable of work. I'm trying to get disability, but that takes a long time.
My family has been in poverty for years. We cannot even afford to get my Mom to her surgery on Tuesday. My dad has been skipping psych meds to make ends meet sometimes.

Was messing around with the ansible libvirt collection to deploy some molecule instances. Turns out the virt_install module forgot to add the #cloud-config header to user-data when converting it from dictionary to string. Therefor my cloudinit user never got created. Currently preparing a pull request but I am stuck a bit on the test setup.
