Ich erspare mir und euch eine erneute Vorstellung, ich bin einfach wieder hier. Nicht #neuhier, weder bei #Friendica noch auf diesem Server. Ich war schon mal hier und hätte besser bleiben sollen. Es ist wie es ist. Jetzt geht es an die Einstellungen. 😁

@crossgolf_rebel @BrauchC könnt ihr rekonstruieren, ob es alle Friendaaccounts sind, bei denen es nicht geklappt hat? Anders gefragt folgen Euch (außer aktiv euch angefragten Follower) noch Leute die mit #Friendica unterwegs sind?

@mvg Late to the party, some short thoughts:

#Friendica might still be an option of course, I do still admire the platform very much even though I learnt that it doesn't work for me for the ever-same reasons (performance, stability). Feature-wise, everything you need might be covered quite well by it. Groups work well, threaded posts work well. And its recent versions have matured quite a bit. #Hubzilla might be an option too. Generally in both cases however, I wonder whether the "subforum" approach is possible with any of these; at best there's threads in groups. Maybe, for what you want, something like #lemmy might be worth a closer look as well.

Unsure about #bonfire , seems to be an interesting solution but apart from briefly looking at it, I haven't done much with it so far.

Just got my #friendica server updated to run in docker after updating my server to use two different zpools on #voidlinux ! Here's a pic of our trip to #Iceland , what a lovely country, would love to go back!

I'm sorry if this has confused anyone. I do/did enjoy Friendica and Akkoma, and they do work with Tweesecake and TWBlue, respectively, , but the main sites have accessibility issues. I am adding certain tags that don't belong here, but this is how many people found me, so please forgive my taking the liberty of adding them. I just want people to be able to find me at the right place.

  Mastodon:
  Can only create plain text; can only render a small subset of HTML text formatting
• Friendica:
  Have as many images pro post as you want
  Embed them within the text
  Mastodon:
  Limited to 4 images
  Images can only be file attachments
• Friendica:
  Shows you all content in the Fediverse just like the author intended it
  Mastodon:

@kerravonsen you're doing a fine job of keeping up, based on you spotting me 60' - 90' ago & then doing it. i have only very recently returned here to my active masto account, after a long time in my various #sharkey & #friendica instances, due to fatigue from them all sooner or later letting me down re reliability, uptime, whereas this masto just keeps on keeping on.
