Nee, het bleef toen lang opmerkelijk stil.
Geen sancties, geen boycott, geen "zeer zorgwekkend", en toch zal Starmer vermoedelijk nog steeds op het Nazi-bar product Twitter zitten lezen en posten zoals nog steeds heel erg veel politici and journalisten. Als schijnheilige strontvliegen op koeienvlaaien.
En heeft Musk excuses aangeboden voor de een of twee Hitler groeten in publiek ?
Volgens mij niet. Musk is ook een persoon waarvan ik vermoed dat hij niet snel sorry zal zeggen.

Massive shoutout to the maintainers of simplejson, Cython, memray, h5py, greenlet, bottleneck, guppy3, bitarray, igraph, APSW, Pillow, regex, and many others!
The feedback they gave me, especially when pointing out my tool's false positives, was invaluable for making the scanners better.
It's been incredibly rewarding to see the tools find interesting bugs and watch the community merge the fixes so quickly.

On February 18, 2026, the FCC adopted a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on the Lifeline program. The FCC established the comment period on April 3, 2026.
The Lifeline program provides discounts on voice and broadband services for qualifying low-income Americans. This NPRM seeks comment on reforms in the Lifeline program to ensure that federal dollars go to eligible Americans, enhance program integrity, ensure that service providers are complying with the Commission’s rules and regulations, and streamline Lifeline rules.
As to accessibility, the FCC seeks comment on the following:
• To better inform possible changes to individual minimum service standards, have service providers explored options to: (1) support the need for increased usage allowances for Lifeline subscribers who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability and (2) rely on video connection for Video Relay Services and point-to-point calls and other bandwidth-intensive accessibility functions?
• Would ending support for voice-only services through the Lifeline program affect accessibility for certain individuals with disabilities?

Historically, automated bug-finding tools have a bad habit of producing high-noise findings (and now worse: convincing AI slop) that just wastes maintainer time.
I built `cext-review-toolkit` using multiple specialized agents to find bugs, and I try to reproduce every finding from pure Python before reporting it.
Human review + pure-Python reproducers act as a necessary filter against false positives.

This whole week was quite a bit more time to myself since I literally was alone at home, so we had plenty of downtime to make use of. Today's VOD finds us back in the dark and chaotic corridors of ZeroBrightness with our tried and true HDest load order, getting in firefights with all sorts of denizens of the Tyrant's forces.
In the years since this playthrough, as you may have seen if you follow along any of my devlogs I've posted, I've been hard at work refactoring the hell out of several common systems the mod and it's addons use, so I haven't really had much opportunity to play since then, and even when I have the ability to return to this mapset, I have things set up so drastically different it's almost like I would need to start over again...
Once we do, though, whoo boy do I have high expectations for such a replay. My entire setup has been rebalanced so much it's hardly going to feel the same as it once did, and hopefully that's for the better!

i like how in #esperanto FOSS licenses specifically are called "permesilo(j)", rather than "licenco(j)"
the former literally means "something that permits", which fits well, given that open-source licenses give the user extra rights, whereas proprietary EULAs usually take the user's existing rights away

On August 27, 2025, Berkeley Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences lecturer Peyrin Kao launched an open-ended hunger strike to protest the use of technology in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
The hunger strike, which lasted 38 days, demanded that the university acknowledge its role in Israel’s genocide and occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, pledge to sever material or financial relationships with the US military, and institutionalize ethical standards aligned with international human rights law.
While Kao suspended his hunger strike because of health concerns, his demands highlighted the University of California’s long-standing entanglement with the military industrial complex. In May 2024, the UC system disclosed that they had $32 billion invested in assets that Palestine solidarity protesters called for divestment from. Research across UC campuses has received $5.6 billion from 2005 to 2022 from the Department of Defense, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Atomics, Boeing, and the Israeli Ministry of Defense. From 2017 to 2022, UC campuses received 1,428 total military-funded research grants.
