Why is #Rust compiler such a piece of crud? Not only it is slow as molasses, but it completely knocks off whole computer. I compile much larger programs with #GCC (I am a #Python interpreter maintainer after all), but it has never been such drama as every other Rust program (vim9jit just killed my computer).

Not exactly failing at the *first* hurdle, but... my GridMaps don't have colliders! :(
The Scenes used to make them are StaticBody3D, with MeshInstance3D and CollisionShape3D. I can see the blue colliders in the Scene.
If I add them directly to my Dungeon scene, they work fine, but putting them into the MeshLibrary for GridMap loses the Collider! :(
Any clues?

Probably late next week I’ll have some new stuff to share, some of it is related to thinking programmatically but with ‘real’ components. So the first part, we make a ball from a sphere, and then we learn how to apply attributes to that, like velocity, mass, color, then we introduce a floor shape that the ball or sphere will interact with.

One of the many things I like about #Mastodon is that it is not filled with trolls, assholes, crypto scams and porn.
But I just went to check my trending hashtags, and guess what, 50 percent of the tags were porn-related. This stuff is not showing up in my timeline, and I can choose to ignore the hashtags, which I do.
But this is a new and rather unsettling trend.
Since there is no algorithm here, it must be an overall look of what the #Fediverse is doing today.
