“The implications of all this are profound.
First, our understanding of political risk has to change. We are no longer dealing with actors who are constrained by norms, expectations, or even basic human decency.
Second, the institutional safeguards that we assumed would provide protection look increasingly fragile. If those in power are willing to ignore them, their effectiveness is limited. They have, quite literally, thrown the international rules-based order aside. So far, there is nothing to replace it.
Third, the psychological impact is real. Living with the possibility of extreme events, including those we once thought impossible, alters how people think, act, and relate to one another.
And fourth, inequality and exploitation are likely to deepen. When crises are used as opportunities for enrichment, the costs are borne by the many, while the gains accrue to the few.”

Dass dieses Land Menschen, die offensichtlich nicht dazu befähigt sind, Autos zu bedienen, immer wieder die Chance gibt, ihr Unheil anzurichten, ist beängstigend.

Was sagen diese Fakten?
Die Kriegspartei USA bemüht sich durch eine Betrugsvereinbarung die Niederlage zu kaschieren. Sollte der Betrug mißlingen, bleibt die Atomdrohung virulent. Die Bereitschaft der USA zum wirklichen Atomschlag ist nach meinem Gefühl weniger als 50%. Ich zweifle, dass die USA ein zwingendes Motiv zur letzten Eskalation haben.
Das israelische Regime tut alles zur Kriegseskalation. Das scheint letzten Endes durch jüdischen Totalitarismus und jüdische Endzeitideologie getrieben.
Der Iran bemüht sich um Eskalationsbremse bei gleichzeitigem Beharren auf der existentiellen Lösung.
Der Krieg ist in einem Schwebezustand, der immer noch zu einer finalen Explosion führen kann.

I liked "The #Git Commands I Run Before Reading Any Code" post[1], but during the part that contains ""Reverts every couple of weeks means the team doesn’t trust its deploy process. They’re evidence of a deeper issue: […]" something in me yelled: "This is more nuanced, and people will be drawing the wrong conclusions if they believe this blindly".
Because for the #Linux #kernel reverts often are a good thing for two entangled reasons:
* No "deploy process" can find all bugs, so some will only be found in the wild. This, sadly, is especially true for the #LinuxKernel, as its drivers and hardware are messy and full of bugs and quirks that need to be handled in kernel code.
* A quick revert can be the fastest way to ensure that mainline usually remains usable and is tested by people, as "fixing a bug through a follow-up commit" often takes more time than "reverting and reapplying later with the bug fixed"[2].

Les développeurs de VeraCrypt, WireGuard et Windscribe ont subi une suspension de leur compte, sans réelle explication de la part de l’éditeur. Résultat : impossible de livrer des mises à jour. The ceasefire deal between the USA and Iran has two obvious fault lines that will most likely cause it to fail:
- Who gets how much protection money from the ships passing through the Street of Hormuz? Trumps greed will kick in once someone else gets money.
- Israel is refusing the ceasefire for the Lebanon. Furthermore Israel is no official party of the agreement which historically means that they will drop the occasional bomb here and there. But most important: They (and especially Netanyahu) have no interest in the ceasefire holding up.
I see other possible breaking points, but that are the big ones.
