I know Orbstack exists, but like... they want you on a subscription (because I think they also do a lot more than just be a better GUI).
I'd totally pay like 50 bucks for this as a one time purchase (and maybe again for an upgrade) but subscription pricing kinda does not make sense for this imho.

Pakistan shares Iran’s view that ceasefire includes Lebanon: Former ambassador
Pakistan’s former ambassador to the United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi, has told Al Jazeera that Pakistani understanding of the US-Iran ceasefire is the same as Iran’s – Lebanon is meant to be included.
“In the run-up to this ceasefire, Pakistani officials had specifically asked their American counterparts whether they would be able to rein in or restrain Israel, and we were given the assurance that the Americans would do that,” Lodhi said.
Israel’s latest deadly attacks in Lebanon have created even more concern in Islamabad about the ceasefire’s fate and how Iran will react, she added.
For now, an Iranian delegation is still expected in Islamabad later today for talks, although it is unclear who will lead it.
“I think there is a lot of uncertainty created by Israel’s actions,” Lodhi said.

You may now redact safely also #PDF documents with cropped, scaled, or rotated pages. The upstream #PyMuPDF library has some issues treating these documents. Thus, I implemented manual transformation and drawing of the redaction rectangles, and verified the proper redaction with a specially created sample document, submitted to the collection by #pypdf: https://github.com/py-pdf/sample-files/pull/36
Additionally, point- or line-like elements are now properly redacted. Sanitization during post-processing keeps now entries in form fields (note: this changes previous behavior).
Thanks to the translators, Censor is now available in 12 languages including Croatian and Russian.

@joho I run a fedi instance for myself and a few "playground" accounts, filled with some followings and my "poor man’s relay" (reading RSS feeds of hashtags from other instances with a script and injecting the stuff via Mastodon search API).
First I used #Mastodon (on a #hetzner cloudserver with 8G RAM). A Rails app is not a problem to install and run for me (that’s what I do for a living). But once it's running and federating, there is always something going on on the server that eats a lot of memory and creates surprisingly high CPU usage. And it fills your disc.
So I decided to use #GoToSocial (on a cloudserver with 4 G RAM) for the same stuff, with Postgres. The main difference is the Interface (I use #Phanpy instead of Mastodon’s web interface), of course. Some of the nice "bells and whistles" from Mastodon (like the automatic author attribution, automatic OG preview pics for links in the timeline and all the "trending" stuff, etc.) aren’t there, that’s okay for me.
I barely notice a system load with GTS. It also fills your disc, but you can use a short media purge time, because GTS can reload a pic or a video from its origin if it is already purged away. Something that Mastodon cannot do.
