I'm still torn between being a user or an admin when it comes to Pixelfed. Its user experience isn't anywhere near as smooth or nice as Mastodon's. I originally thought about setting up a Pixelfed instance, but after running into all the slowness and bugs in that PHP-based system, I got frustrated. I know I can get it super fast and polished, but I also see value in the original core. It should feel right. I don't have the time to contribute to multiple platforms right now, and I know this could easily become a rabbit hole. So for now, I'm sticking with Mastodon.

Dir Reisegesellschaft ist in Harwich angekommen und chillt noch ein wenig in der Stadt.
Die Fahrt war so weit OK, wenn auch zum Teil viel Verkehr.
Das die hier keine Ahnung vom Verkehr haben, merkt man schon daran, das Höchstgeschwindigkeit auf 113 km/h beschränkt ist

Der Urlaub hat uns allen gefallen und ich weiß wieder, warum ich so gern hier bin. UK liegt mir einfach, auch wenn ich sprachlichen ein DAU bin, ich mag die Sprache.
Das Zelt haben wir heute Morgen im Regen abgebaut und auch die Vorhersage sagte, das es dort den ganze. Tag nass bleibt.
Eine halbe Autostunde entfernt, war nichts mehr mit regen, dafür Sonne satt und bis nach Harwich 25--28 Grad in England.
Jetzt in Harwich noch mal bei ASDA eingekehrt und Abendessen in Form von Sandwiches geholt.
Noch mal so typisch britisch muss sein.
Was cool ist, das man auch #IrnBru hier bekommt, da habe ich mir auch noch mal ne Flasche geholt 🥰

Jesus fucking Christ! The people on Bluesky are so fucking insane. The people who were still on Twitter were your insane ones, so this latest emigration from Twitter to Bluesky because of the UK Online Safety Act has resulted in a flood of psychotic perverts from Twitter flooding onto Bluesky.
To be clear, when I use the word ‘perversion,’ I am not referring to sexuality that doesn’t fit into conventional normative boxes. I mean ‘pervert’ in the creepy sense, not in the sense of these are people with different sexualities and interests that are expressing them in safe, fun, and ethical ways.
That is a large reason why I am back on Mastodon. The furries on Mastodon are sane and intelligent, lol. Technically, I am a queer therian and am otherkin and not a furry. I am not a fan of anthropomorphic characters; rather, I believe I am a transmigrated dragon soul. I’d rather have the insane furries from Bluesky than on here. I think I got used to dealing with sane therians and sane furries on here, so seeing the utter shit show on Bluesky flabbergasted me.
The sanest wave of people from Twitter were from two years ago. You have to keep in mind that for everyone leaving Twitter now, their line was porn. Not Nazis. Porn.
